Mecca's pledge: sovereignty and balance
The Makkah Pact between Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan represents a reengineering of the Islamic geopolitical landscape. It aims to establish a system of civilizational balance that preserves sovereignty and reduces reliance on fragile external alliances. The alliance is not merely a security agreement but a response to the global shift toward multipolarity. It is based on the concept of genuine sovereignty rooted in the right to legitimate defense and independence from the dominance of great powers. Additionally, it includes an integrated defensive system encompassing military manufacturing and technology transfer, empowering the region with autonomous capabilities to protect its interests. This marks a strategic turning point, redefining the notions of power and political independence in the area.
