Al-Ghamdi Resigns and Al-Yami Appointed President
Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company announced the resignation of Othman Al-Ghamdi from his position as CEO as of August 31. Hassan Al-Yami was appointed as his successor starting September 1, while Al-Ghamdi remains a member of the Board of Directors. The company is implementing strategic projects to increase production capacity and improve refining margins. Its record-breaking financial results for the second quarter contributed to a revenue growth of 416%, with net profit rising by 81.5%. This performance was driven by increased production and higher product prices, along with ongoing enhancements in operational efficiency and cost reduction.
