Sports Ministry Replies to Abha President's Remarks
The Ministry of Sports confirmed that Al-Baha Club has not received any promotion bonus or special financial support related to it. The support allocated to clubs includes monthly assistance of up to 100 million riyals, and the monthly payments were received at the end of July. The Ministry's Undersecretary clarified that the clubs' budgets are publicly announced before the start of the season, and that the club's management was aware of the allocated budgets. He also stated that the Al-Baha president's comments about not receiving the budget or promotion bonus are inaccurate and misleading. The statements included a call to club presidents to ensure accuracy in their remarks, confirming that support is available and that contracts were signed within the announced budgets.
