Al-Akhdar competes in CONCACAF Gold Cup
The Saudi national team participated in the 2027 CONCACAF Gold Cup, which will commence in June with 16 teams. This is the Green Falcons' second participation in the tournament's history, following their good performance in the 2025 edition where they reached the quarter-finals. CONCACAF will announce the host cities, stadiums, and match schedule after the qualifiers are completed in March. This participation is part of Saudi Arabia's plan to prepare for future international competitions, aiming to enhance the players' readiness, gain experience against diverse football schools, and increase international exposure.
