The King Abdulaziz and his Buddies for Giftedness and Creativity Foundation (Mawhiba) has announced the opening of registration for participation in the 2026 World Robotics Olympiad. The event aims to develop robotics skills, foster innovation, and enhance teamwork among youth aged 8 to 22 across the Kingdom. The national pathway includes three stages: registration, the national qualifiers, and the national final to select the Saudi representatives who will compete internationally in Puerto Rico, involving around 100 countries. This year's Olympiad focuses on the theme "Robots and Culture," through challenges that utilize robots and artificial intelligence to protect and restore heritage. The goal is to discover technical talents and prepare students for competition in a global environment that promotes innovation and technology in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
