During Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to France, multiple agreements were signed to strengthen the strategic relationship between the two countries. These agreements included extending and modifying previous accords in the fields of cultural, environmental, and tourism development, as well as enhancing defense cooperation, developing a multi-purpose entertainment venue, and collaborating on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The deals also encompassed direct French investments amounting to 16.3 billion euros in 2024, with the Saudi economy growing by 85% since 2017, alongside expanded cooperation in energy, finance, and infrastructure. The summit focused on boosting political and security collaboration, expanding economic partnerships—including financing the electricity grid and providing credit facilities worth $5 billion—and supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and local capacity development. Both sides emphasized diplomatic solutions to regional crises, continued collaboration in energy, investment, and technology sectors, and extended the Al-Ula partnership until 2035. Additionally, they reinforced cultural and sports cooperation, with France preparing to participate in Expo 2030 in Riyadh.
