The North, Central American, and Caribbean Football Union (CONCACAF) has decided to include the Saudi national team in the 2027 Gold Cup, scheduled for June and July of the same year. The tournament will feature 16 teams, with 8 qualifying directly through the CONCACAF Nations League and 7 through the qualification rounds. The Saudi team will participate as a guest for the second consecutive time, as part of a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Football Federation that has been in place since 2024. This participation comes within the framework of efforts to develop football and strengthen cooperation between the two organizations. Details regarding the stadiums and matches will be announced later.
