Trump Plans to Refill US Reserve with Venezuelan Oil
US President Donald Trump announced that the United States will soon begin filling its strategic oil reserves using Venezuelan oil, following an agreement that grants America control over 65 billion barrels of crude oil and involves private sector companies in increasing production. This will be achieved through the development of 17 strategic fields with investments exceeding $100 billion, which is expected to generate more than $209 billion in taxes for Venezuela.
