Red alert for storms and flooding
The National Center of Meteorology has issued warnings of heavy thunderstorms accompanied by floods and hail, affecting several regions in the Kingdom, including Jazan, Asir, Mecca, and Al-Baha, with forecasts of flash floods in valleys and streams. The weather also impacts Najran, the Eastern Province, Madinah, and Tabuk, bringing active winds that stir up dust and sand, reducing visibility, especially in mountainous and coastal areas. Reports indicate that the weather conditions are causing disruptions in terms of heavy rainfall, strong winds, and temperature fluctuations, with temperatures ranging from 29 to 44 degrees Celsius. It is important to exercise caution when driving and to stay updated on weather conditions.
