Families Engage in Al-Arida Park Activities
The skilled craftswomen of the producing families in King Abdullah Park in Al-Arida district have turned their activities into an important source of income. Families have benefited from visitors' interest in their popular products, especially traditional oven-baked bread made from barley and millet, which is displayed alongside traditional stews and local dishes that see increased demand during the winter and spring seasons. Mother Ebeir and her sister have been involved in preparing and providing bread for over a year, with demand rising during the rainy season. They are calling for greater support to expand their activities. Additionally, the park has become a daily gathering spot for retirees who organize entertainment and cultural activities, transforming it into an economic and social hub that highlights the significance of local culinary heritage as a vital income source for families.
