MSC Launches Port Service in Jeddah

Saudi Ports Company ("Mawani") announced the addition of the "ALBATROS" shipping service operated by "MSC" to the ports of Jeddah Islamic and King Abdullah in Rabigh, with a capacity of 18,000 standard containers. This move aims to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub and to intensify its presence in international trade. The service follows a maritime route passing through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Suez Canal, and it is the thirty-fourth service added to Saudi ports in 2026, thereby enhancing maritime connectivity and the Kingdom's role in the international trade network.
