Johnson Controls Arabia Students Create 18 Industrial Solutions
Johnson Controls Arabia, in cooperation with Jeddah University, organized an event to launch the first edition of the "University Industrial Projects Hackathon," aimed at developing students' skills and presenting innovative solutions to industrial sector challenges. About 50 students from the College of Engineering at Jeddah University participated in developing 18 engineering projects across mechanical and industrial engineering fields, benefiting from real-world challenges provided by York Industrial Factory. The company also showcased its training programs, especially the "Ghada" program, which has trained 185 trainees up to 2026, with a goal to increase the number to 1,500 by 2030, in order to continue nurturing national talent and provide skills that qualify students for the workforce, in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
