The "Contemporary Egyptian Creations" exhibition held at Jeddah Fine Arts Atelier showcases over 100 years of Egypt's cultural and artistic history in visual arts. The exhibition features paintings from different generations, including pioneers, the middle generation, and young artists, illustrating a dialogue between the old and the new through works by prominent Egyptian artists from various schools and movements such as realism, expressionism, abstract art, and impressionism. The goal of the exhibition is to highlight key figures of Egyptian visual arts, establish the importance of artistic experiences, and recognize their place in Arab history. Critics Hesham Kandil and Issam Asiri emphasize the exhibition's significance as a bridge for cultural and artistic communication between Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Arab world at large.
