The Saudi Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has offered more than 9,700 residential land plots through the "Sakani" platform from the beginning of 2026 until the end of August, aiming to increase housing supply and provide diverse options for Saudi families. The total number of land plots offered reached 9,733 across 54 residential schemes, with Riyadh topping the list with the largest number of plots, followed by Qassim, Hail, and Mecca. May recorded the highest distribution volume since the start of the year, with 2,002 plots. Additionally, more than 63,000 families have benefited from obtaining their first home during the first half of 2026. This expansion in land availability is part of the ministry’s efforts to support urban development and meet the needs of the population by providing diverse and accessible housing options.
