U.S. stocks stabilize after three-day drop
U.S. stock futures stabilized after three days of decline, following a drop in Wall Street due to rising bond yields and oil prices. Dow futures increased by approximately 0.1%, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures declined slightly. In Asian markets, major stock indices experienced significant declines, with the Nikkei 225 down by 2.85% and the Korean Kospi falling 4%. The Australian and Chinese markets also declined. The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury bond reached its highest level since early 2025, amid ongoing fears of a repeat of a global financial crisis similar to 1997. Oil prices also rose above $90 per barrel amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran, as increased geopolitical tensions continue to exert a significant impact on financial markets.
