Saudi-Nepali Civil Aviation Pact
The General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia signed an agreement with its counterpart in Nepal to enhance air transport services between the two countries. The aim is to organize flight operations safely and systematically, in accordance with the Chicago Convention of 1944, and to develop transportation rights and licenses for international airlines. The agreement seeks to improve safety and security, support fair competition, serve national airlines, and facilitate air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Nepal. This is part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to strengthen its position as a global logistics hub in line with Vision 2030. Additionally, the official meeting between the two parties reviewed avenues of cooperation in civil aviation and tourism.
