A joint medical team from the Heart Diseases and Surgery Center and King Fahd Hospital in Madinah successfully performed an advanced procedure on an elderly patient in his eighth decade. The procedure included transcatheter aortic valve implantation and repair of a critical aneurysm in the thoracic aorta. The patient was suffering from severe aortic stenosis and a critical dilation of the artery, along with chronic illnesses and heart function disorders, which required urgent and precise intervention. The operation was carried out through multiple specialized procedures simultaneously, successfully improving the patient's condition and stabilizing his vital functions. He was discharged from the hospital in good health.
