Berkshire Hathaway reported that it considers Google, the parent company of Alphabet, to be an important player in the field of artificial intelligence. CEO Greg Abel added that the company has a clear vision for integrating AI within its operations, and that it had invested $10 billion in Google 15 months ago, with a 6.5% discount off the prevailing price at that time. Additionally, Berkshire increased its holdings in Alphabet's shares by nearly $17 billion in the second quarter, making it its third-largest investment valued at approximately $36.6 billion, amid the tech industry’s trend toward investing billions of dollars in artificial intelligence.
