Maliki questions Green team exclusion
Abdulilah Al-Maliki expressed his surprise at his exclusion from the Saudi national team roster, questioning whether the reason was technical or personal, despite his good performance with Al-Dreya after transferring there in January 2026. Prior to that, he had participated in about 70 to 75% of his team's matches. He noted that his current situation differs from previous periods when he was with Al-Hilal. Al-Maliki's statements sparked discussions about the reasons for his omission, with widespread reactions from fans and critics. Many speculated that the issue was technical, related to competition for the midfield position, raising questions about his physical readiness and speed compared to other options.
