Al-Taif Square hosts Haqana Race tomorrow
Tomorrow, the historic Al-Taif Racecourse will host the Hajjana Race as part of the Crown Prince Camel Festival 2026, with the participation of 69 riders from six Arab countries. The eighth edition of the festival has seen significant organizational development, evolving from limited heats to a global championship that brings together the best riders from different continents. The number of participants has gradually increased, with 35 men and 34 women competing in this edition. These advancements are part of the efforts by the Saudi Camel Racing Federation, with direct support from the Crown Prince, aimed at strengthening the heritage, developing the camel racing sport both locally and internationally, and achieving a high level of competition that reflects the leadership's support for this traditional sport.
