The Saudi team Al-Ittihad achieved its third consecutive victory in the Roshen Professional League, defeating Al-Faisaly 3-1. This makes the team unbeaten in the first 7 rounds of the season, with 5 wins and 2 draws, now accumulating 17 points—an identical tally to the number of points they had when they won the title in 2009. Al-Ittihad is progressing steadily under the leadership of German coach Vising, with its attack led by the Moroccan trio of Youssef N’Nouri, Nigerian George Elinikena, and Dutchman Bero, who have scored a total of 12 goals in 7 matches—an average of 4 goals each. The team maintains an undefeated streak for the sixth season. With continued positive results, Al-Ittihad is approaching the top of the standings after initially being outside the expected contenders, and it is considered one of the strong teams since the start of the season.
