Egyptian Miss Global Irena Yousry affirms her respect for her right to represent Egypt in the Miss Global 2025 competition and rejects handing over the crown to the new queen, considering herself the official representative of her country. Yousry had been awarded the title of Miss Global Egypt, not the official Miss Egypt crown, and she emphasizes that the title was officially bestowed upon her during the event and in front of the attendees, highlighting her legal rights and ownership associated with it. The management clarified that the title is a qualifying step to represent Egypt in the international competition, and retaining it requires completing the participation procedures according to regulations. Meanwhile, Yousry insists that she received her title officially and that any attempt to replace her could lead to legal accountability.
