United Insurance stock trading halted
The Saudi Capital Market Authority has decided to suspend trading of United Cooperative Insurance Company's shares starting September 13, 2026, after the company notified the authority of filing for liquidation proceedings against it. This is pending a decision from the Commercial Court regarding approval or rejection of the liquidation. This step aligns with the regulations of the Capital Market Law and underscores the importance of protecting the rights of shareholders and creditors, as the company continues its efforts to reorganize financially in order to maintain its continuity.
