The Eastern Province Municipality completed the development of the southern Corniche in Al-Khobar Municipality, extending over 4,150 meters with an area exceeding 130,000 square meters. The aim was to improve the urban appearance, enhance quality of life, and promote tourism in the region. The project included rehabilitating the waterfront, increasing green spaces that now surpass 90,000 square meters while preserving existing trees, and providing recreational elements such as terraces, parking lots, interactive squares, children's play areas, and seating. The goal is to attract visitors, support sports activities, and improve the experience of those visiting the Corniche through an integrated environment characterized by green spaces and entertainment facilities. This development is part of efforts to boost tourism and entertainment, thereby strengthening Al-Khobar's position as a distinguished tourist destination.
