103 projects worth 500M riyals for environmental sustainability
The National Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification has announced the launch of 103 investment opportunities across all regions of Saudi Arabia, with investments exceeding 500 million riyals. The aim is to promote sustainable development and protect the vegetation cover. The opportunities vary between tourism, environmental, and agricultural activities, including projects such as adventure tourism, nurseries, and medicinal plants, with investment periods ranging from 5 to 25 years. This program seeks to enable the private sector to participate in environmental and economic development and to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. It is expected that these investments will contribute over 1.4 billion riyals to the gross domestic product and create approximately 6,000 jobs.
