It has been announced that 20 million cubic meters of water from Wadi Hali Dam in Al Qunfudhah will be released over a period of 46 days, through opening its gates. This is aimed at supporting farmers and irrigating agricultural lands. The operation is being coordinated with relevant authorities to regulate the water flow and protect lives and property. Special focus is given to supporting Wadi Hali farms, which produce mangoes and other crops. The initiative seeks to enhance water supply, ensure stability in the agricultural season, and improve productivity. Farmers are also advised to prepare their lands and avoid the riverbed during this period.
