Al Hilal Considers Legal Action Over Insult Chant Against Neves
Al Hilal Club announced that they are taking legal action following offensive chants by Al Taawoun fans directed at midfielder Portuguese player Robin Neves during their match, which Hilal won 6-0. The club reaffirmed its rejection of the disgraceful behavior that contradicts sporting values and has filed an official complaint with the Saudi Football Federation. These incidents occurred after the fans provoked Neves by chanting in honor of his late teammate Diógo Jota, to which Neves responded by raising his hand and sending a strong message. Additionally, Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo called for the fans to be punished to protect the spirit of sportsmanship on the fields.
