Fewer ships transit Strait of Hormuz

Initial data revealed that the number of cargo ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz dropped to fewer than ten ships per day at the beginning of the week, compared to an average of 14 ships over the past ten days. During the same period, four ships departed the Gulf via the strait, while twelve ships entered. This excludes vessels that may have transited without Automatic Identification System (AIS) signals. This development occurs amid an overall decline in maritime navigation activity in the region.
