The Saudi Football Federation has announced that the 2026-2027 Saudi Super Cup will be held in Kuwait, featuring four clubs: Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, and Al-Qadsiah. The tournament is scheduled from December 19 to 23, 2026. An agreement has been signed with Al-Rai Media Group to be a partner in organizing the event, which will take place at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. This is the twelfth edition hosted by Kuwait since the competition's inception, having previously been held in various cities including Mecca, Riyadh, and London, and it has never before been hosted in Kuwait. This move aims to strengthen Gulf relations and enhance the tournament's popularity both among fans and commercially, while emphasizing that the event presents an opportunity to elevate the status of Saudi football in the region.
