Al-Aweis recalls Al-Trabilis and Al-Habs
Saudi national team goalkeeper Muhammad Al-Owais achieved a historic milestone at the Gulf Cup 27 by keeping a clean sheet throughout the tournament. This made him the fifth goalkeeper to accomplish this feat in a single edition of the competition, and the third to both maintain a clean sheet and win the title with the Saudi team, following Ahmed Al-Trabulsi and Omani goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi.
