Civil Defense alert for floods and cold in 6 regions
The Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia has warned of continued moderate to heavy thunderstorm rainfall across several regions until Wednesday, including Mecca, Riyadh, the Eastern Province, Asir, Al-Baha, and Jazan. Flooding, hail, and dusty winds are expected. Authorities stated that the rain could lead to floods and a rise in hail temperatures and urged citizens and residents to follow safety instructions and stay away from flood channels to ensure safety. These forecasts come amid ongoing monitoring of the weather conditions and prior preparations to face potential hazards.
