BTS Achieves 10 Billion Streams After Military
South Korean group BTS achieved a global milestone after returning from compulsory military service, becoming the first band to surpass 10 billion listens on Spotify within a year. This accomplishment followed the release of their fifth album, "Arranged," in March 2026, which garnered over five billion streams and topped the year’s most prominent album charts. The group's listens doubled compared to the previous year, which was around 4.5 billion, marking an unprecedented success. While solo artists like Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande have previously reached this number, BTS is the first band to do so.
