Children Enrich Theater
The King Abdulaziz Public Library supports theater for children and young people by producing stage performances, participating in the “Saudi Spirit” and “Live It” seasons, and making greater use of the theaters at its branches. Its efforts include holding auditions, discovering talent, and involving children, young people, writers, directors, and actors in training and production. This gives young participants the opportunity to take part in making theater and develop their skills. Sondos Al-Sharif, Director of the General Administration for Children, said these initiatives help enrich Saudi theatrical production and nurture a new generation of creative talent.
