Tech Meeting Canceled
The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump canceled a meeting scheduled for Friday of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, which includes prominent leaders such as Jensen Huang, Mark Zuckerberg, Lisa Su, and Larry Ellison. The council was set to advise the “Superintelligence Task Force,” amid falling tech stocks and concerns about a slowdown in AI development and inadequate returns. The administration did not explain the cancellation, and no new date has been confirmed after the Department of Energy withdrew a tentative reference to November 13.
