Caution Urged at Protests
The Saudi Embassy in France on Saturday, November 7, 2026, warned Saudi citizens living in or visiting the country, including tourists, about a wave of demonstrations in French cities. It urged them to remain cautious, avoid gatherings, and follow local authorities’ instructions. The advisory followed protests involving around 600,000 people opposing the rising cost of living. Some cities also saw violence and rioting. The embassy said it was monitoring the situation of Saudi citizens and urged them to contact the embassy in an emergency.
