Sabir Breakthrough
The Yemeni armed forces, backed by popular resistance fighters, advanced on the southern fronts of Jabal Sabir in Taiz Governorate, broke through Houthi defenses, and began clearing the Sanmat area and Al-Sarar. At the same time, drones struck Houthi gatherings and reinforcements in Najd Qasim, in Jabal Habashi District, killing and wounding dozens, destroying vehicles and equipment, and disrupting supplies in the sector. Engineering teams continue to clear mines and improvised explosive devices to secure the liberated areas and allow residents to return. Control of these areas gives the forces oversight of key supply routes and helps ease the siege on Taiz.
