Deco's role in Christensen's contract update
Media reports circulated about the behind-the-scenes details of renewing Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen's contract, where President Joan Laporta personally intervened to ensure his continuation, despite Sporting Director Deco believing his departure was necessary for both sporting and financial reasons.
