Tottenham makes costly Manchester United signing
Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement to sign West Ham United midfielder, Portuguese player Matheus Fernandes, for £85 million, surpassing Manchester United's deal which was focused on him. The 21-year-old player is preparing to undergo medical examinations ahead of completing the transfer, which will become the most expensive deal in the club’s history, surpassing the record set by Dominic Solanke. This comes as part of Tottenham's efforts to build a competitive team with a high financial value, amid intense competition in the Premier League transfer market.
