Lewis Hamilton, the British driver for the Ferrari team, achieved the fastest time in the free practice sessions for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, recording a time of 1:29.260. He outperformed Kimi Antoilli and another Italian driver. The sessions took place under challenging conditions with temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius, in front of a large crowd. Hamilton confirmed that the hydrogen system and engine are not delivering their best performance this season, despite his personal speed during the practice. The race is scheduled to take place next Sunday.
