The "King's League" for the Middle East and North Africa region announced the appointment of Wael Al-Fayez as the project's CEO. The competitions are scheduled to take place in Riyadh from September 18 to October 30, 2026. The first round will feature ten teams from the top football markets and fan communities across the region, building on previous successes such as the 2025 King's Cup. The league aims to provide a sporting and entertainment experience that combines intense competition with content creation, with live coverage across streaming platforms and television. The new season will see an expansion in the number of teams and matches, along with significant investments and remarkable fan and media engagement.
