The article focused on the actions of three European federations (Finland, Sweden, Denmark) in response to the crisis within the International Football Federation (FIFA). It expressed deep concern regarding governance issues, transparency, and decision-making within FIFA, especially in light of the "FIFA Forward Enterprise" project, which threatened to privatize FIFA competitions and allow private capital to take control. Although the project has been withdrawn, questions remain about who will control the future of international football.
