Inter Milan announced the passing of its veteran sporting director, Piero Ausilio, after a long career spanning since 2014. He joined the club in 1998, where he rose through the ranks to become the sporting director. Throughout his tenure, the club won 25 titles, including three Serie A championships. His departure came after the club did not renew his contract, which was set to end in 2027. American owners offered him only a one-year extension. Dario Baccin, who is already with the club, will take over as sporting director in place of Ausilio.
