The management of Turkish club Trabzonspor has become a list of top contenders to take over the team's coaching position following Fatah Torker, including Italian Antonio Conte, Portuguese Sergio Conceição, Turkish Arda Turan, and Portuguese Vitor Pereira. These developments come amid the team's recent poor results, having lost three of their last four matches, been eliminated early from the Champions League, and dropped to fifth place in the Turkish league, despite strengthening the squad with the signings of Mohamed Salah and Fabinho. So far, the management has not officially contacted any coach, and the team is scheduled to face Gencelir Birliği on September 6 in the fourth round of the league.
