Al-Qadsia Club has agreed to loan Portuguese player Othavio Monteiro, a midfielder for the first team, to Qatari club Al Rayyan for one season. The club had announced last March that the Qadsia coach decided to release the player despite having two years remaining on his contract, due to dissatisfaction with his performance. Othavio, 31 years old, has been with Qadsia since the start of last season, arriving from Al Nasser, and participated in 21 matches, providing 3 assists. He also previously played for Al Nasser in this season, scoring 12 goals and creating 16 more in 84 matches. This move is part of the club's plan to reorganize the team during the transfer period.
