Reports have confirmed that Real Madrid has initiated a disciplinary procedure against Spanish defender Raúl Asensio due to his involvement in legal issues and off-the-field matters, including a monetary fine and the withdrawal of his driving license on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. He is also facing two other cases related to the leaking of a video and other allegations. Coach José Mourinho stated that 23-year-old Asensio has been one of the club's prominent players, but he has made a number of mistakes that could affect his future with the team, especially considering his absence from training due to injury since July. A final decision regarding his future at the club is expected after investigations, amid ongoing deterioration of his legal and health situation.
