British Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who races for Ferrari, is preparing to participate in the Italian Grand Prix at the Monza circuit, aiming to secure his sixth victory in this race to boost his chances of winning his eighth World Drivers' Championship. The 41-year-old Hamilton is looking to close the gap with his rival, Kimi Antonelli, who has achieved six wins so far this season and currently leads with 242 points. Meanwhile, Antonelli, who will face a penalty for using a new engine, will compete fiercely against his Mercedes teammate George Russell, who has two wins this season, and Hamilton, who has five victories in Italy—a record shared with Michael Schumacher. The Italian team Ferrari is entering the race, which marks the thirtieth anniversary of Schumacher's first win at Monza, with a special livery to celebrate the occasion. Monza is historically one of Hamilton's favorite circuits, where he achieved five wins between 2012 and 2018. The current state of the championship is characterized by intense battles over points and positions, amid significant enthusiasm from the Italian fans as they follow Hamilton's pursuit of a new record title.
