The article focuses on Al-Ettifaq Club's efforts to strengthen its first team by signing both Portuguese defender Diguo Lety (27 years old) and Ivorian Abi Ksel Kouami (22 years old), as the summer transfer window approaches its end. The club plans to sign contracts with either one of them, with preliminary agreements in place, and is awaiting evaluations of other options before making a final decision. Additionally, the club aims to sign a foreign defender born in 2005 to meet age requirements; if successful, they will part ways with Lety and proceed with signing Kouami again. If that option is unavailable, they will continue with Kouami and the young defender. Furthermore, Al-Ettifaq has loaned South African winger Mosaed Nokota to Orlando Pirates due to a knee injury, which has reduced the number of foreign players in the squad to 10. The team is preparing for its upcoming match against Abha in the Saudi Pro League.
