Al-Ahly players remove football director

The management of Al-Ahli Saudi Club has terminated the contract of the sports director, Ruy Pedro, following the heavy defeat against Al Hilal with a score of 0-3 in the clásico. A meeting was held between the players and management before his dismissal. Poor match results prompted this decision, and Osama Hawsawi was appointed as his replacement. It is worth noting that Pedro had assumed the position in October 2023 after his stint with Portuguese club Benfica from 2021 to 2025.
