Four Emirati cyclists participated in the World Cycling Championship hosted by Canada from September 8 to 26. Muhammad Al-Aliili and Harab Al-Marzouqi competed in the under-23 category, while Saif Al-Ghaawi and Sultan Al-Hamadi took part in the junior category. Their participation was part of a developmental program aimed at enhancing their international experience and gaining skills through competition against top global riders. This followed training sessions and participation in preparatory overseas races to improve their technical and physical readiness. This championship represents an important milestone in strengthening the UAE national team’s presence in major tournaments, providing opportunities for competitive engagement, and boosting their global capabilities.
