Bayern Munich's team struggled with a 0-0 draw against Schalke in the second round of the German Bundesliga, marking their first goalless match since February 2025. The team continues to fail to beat Schalke since 2011, extending their losing streak to 12 consecutive matches against them. At Veltins Arena, Bayern was unable to create clear opportunities despite dominating possession, while Schalke goalkeeper Karious made several important saves. The match also saw the return of player Jamal Musiala after experiencing a psychological disturbance. Additionally, this is expected to be Manel Nüvel's last game with Bayern before retiring at the end of the season.
